Milestone Infrastructure, a part of M Group Services, has teamed up with its client Hampshire County Council to promote fostering.
New livery featuring the Fostering Hampshire Children logo has been added to Milestone’s Hampshire Highways vehicles as well as the County Council’s fleet, an initiative Milestone are both supporting and funding.
Milestone have a long-standing relationship with Hampshire County Council, working closely to deliver highway maintenance and improvement works in the county. This project highlights Milestone’s dedication to supporting social initiatives within the communities they operate in.
Simon Watson, Business Director for Milestone Infrastructure said: “We are delighted to be able to promote the Fostering Hampshire Children campaign, adding the livery to our fleet of vehicles that are visible across the county every day. Our hope is that by doing this, we encourage more people to get involved as carers, changing children’s lives for the better.”
Fostering Hampshire Children is dedicated to finding foster carers who can provide children with a safe and loving home. Hampshire County Council already has over 450 fostering households and provides extensive training, competitive allowances, buddies and support groups as well as ongoing support from a dedicated social worker to make sure foster carers feel supported.
Councillor Nick Adams-King, Executive Member for Highways Operations, said: “My thanks go to Milestone for continuing to deliver added value through their demonstrable commitment to important social causes.”
