This week, as part of National Apprenticeship Week, we have been highlighting the ‘Skills for Life’ that our people can gain through apprenticeships at M Group Services.
We are committed to not only attracting the next generation of highly skilled people, but also creating opportunities for people within our business to develop and grow.
Milestone Infrastructure, a part of M Group Services’ Transport Division, has recently introduced several Digital Apprenticeships, offering an opportunity for our people to expand their capabilities and inspire new ways of working.
Working with Multiverse, we offer several Digital Apprenticeships to upskill our people, from opportunities to gain a further understanding of how to interpret data and manipulate data, understand techniques on how to create structured data to better answer questions, and enables apprentices to upskill in coding languages,
Digital technology inspires innovation in the work our people undertake daily. We are constantly looking into new, innovative techniques, whether that be solutions to record and analyse the data from our trials, to finding ways to make our contracts paperless.
Our Digital Apprenticeships give our people an opportunity to harness the skills to successfully introduce this innovation to our business.

Jack Reynolds, Asset, Planning and Efficiency Analyst at Milestone Street Lighting, said: “As an Asset, Planning and Efficiency Analyst in the Street Lighting sector, I’m currently undertaking the Advanced Data Fellowship through Multiverse.
“This experience has been transformative, particularly in the realm of data management. The ability to create visual dashboards and build projects has been a game changer, allowing for more efficient planning and asset management. The fellowship has truly been a catalyst for my professional growth.”
Daniel Blackburn, Innovations Project Assistant, said: “ I am a quarter of the way through my level 4 Data Fellowship Course delivered by Multiverse. This course is for anyone who wants to learn skills with data. There are many people across the business, within Milestone, taking this course.
“This course will help to develop and endorse my digital skills, which expand my capabilities in my role.”
