Recently we came together to celebrate our incredible people at the Highways Heroes Awards 2024, organised by National Highways.

The awards, which took place at the prestigious Hilton on Park Lane in London, recognises the heroic actions of individuals who have coped admirably in the face of adversity.

We had several of our people nominated from across our contracts and it was great to see them receiving recognition within our industry.

Karen Bevan, Commercial Administrator, and Scott Frampton, Operative, both on our Hampshire contract were recognised with Personal Impact winners’ medals.

We’re incredibly proud of Kyle Hall, Operative on our Suffolk contract, who was celebrated for his actions, stopping to assist a road traffic incident when driving back from one of our depots.

Macy Richards, Assistant Engineer on our Oxfordshire contract, was highlighted for her support of our business with the ‘Rising Star’ Award. Macy has chaired our peer support group known as ‘The Graduate and Trainee Forum’ for the past two years, as well as co-Charing our charity fundraising group.

Josh Jones, Operative in Oxfordshire was also highly commended in the ‘Rising Star’ category.

Across Milestone, we work to attract, retain and develop, highly skilled, forward thinking and technically competent individuals. Congratulations to all those recognised as Highways Heroes.
