This project involves the upgrade of carriageways, the junction and footpaths around the A40 in Oxford as part of the Oxford North development. This will improve the pedestrian, cycle, bus and highways networks in the area creating greener travel options.
The 12-month project is part of a £100 million investment scheme to create a highly accessible and connected new urban district near the Wolvercote area Oxford.
The team worked closely with their customer Oxfordshire County Council to identify cost and programme savings through an Early Contractor Involvement process and were subsequently award the construction phase of the project.
